This is going to sound incredibly self-serving, but the best price on Drive 75 used to be right here.  Unfortunately, BASF, the manufacturer of Drive 75 has ceased making the product because they have developed a new formulation that they say works better, Drive XLR8.

Drive 75 DF was one of the best values for selective, post-emergent killing of crabgrass.

What this means is if you didn't get around to using a pre-emergent for crabgrass in the spring, and now you have crabgrass, other grass type weeds and even broadleaf weeds, you are going to need to hit your lawn with something like Drive 75 and Drive XLR8, are quinclorac based, selective weed killers. Hit your entire lawn with this stuff, following instructions, and only the bad stuff is going to die. It's just a plain miracle how it works.

I mean this stuff is going to kill crabgrass, dandelions, foxtail, blackmedic, barnyardgrass, and other stuff like clover, etc. Drive 75 DF is a dry compound that is sold in one pound containers, and one pound of this stuff will treat an acre of lawn. Please know that while some people do apply it without a surfactant, you really should use a surfactant or you risk having an ineffective treatment. A surfactant is a methylated seed oil that is designed to help the Drive stay stuck to the weeds, it's that simple. Stick the weed killer better to the weed, weed's gonna die better.

Drive 75 DF is COMMERCIAL GRADE - normally available only to turf companies or golf courses. Now that BASF has come out with an even more expensive product, they have stopped making Drive 75. It's only when companies like us get our hands on a load of it can be make it available to the general public.

QuinStar HerbicideAS OF 8/17/10 WE HAVE SOLD OUT OF DRIVE 75 DF - Since it is no longer manufactured, chances are we will not be able to get any more.

The good news is that there is a new generic for Drive 75 DF called QuinStar - QuinStar has the identical active ingredient formulation and is every bit as effective.  The rest of the good news is that this product should be available for some time.
